Sustainability is at the heart of our brand, we use 100% natural coconut-soy wax and FSC-certified wood wicks, while striving to reduce waste and maintain the highest quality.

About the Founder

Hi, I’m Tash — the founder of toast.
This all started during a time when everything in my life felt like it was falling apart. I’d lost my job, gone through a painful breakup, and was struggling with my mental health. I was searching for something - anything - that could bring me a little peace. That’s when I stumbled across something called the burnt toast theory.

It’s the idea that sometimes, life delays us for a reason. Like when your toast burns in the morning, making you late -  but maybe that pause was protecting you from something you’ll never even know about. That concept stuck with me. It helped me slow down, trust the timing of things, and start paying attention to life’s quieter moments.

Each candle is inspired by a memory, a moment, or a feeling I wanted to hold onto. I hope they help you do the same - to slow down, to reconnect, and to find comfort in the pauses, even the unexpected ones.

Candle making became my calm - a quiet ritual that brought me back to myself. And slowly, toast. was born.

Because sometimes, the things that don’t go to plan… lead us exactly where we’re meant to be.
